About Me.
Hello and Welcome 😊

This is me, Charlotte. The face behind Rewind Outdoors Counselling.

My path to counselling.
Back in 2019 I was working as an Electrical Engineer for a luxury car manufacturer. One day I was fine tuning window speeds for a new model when I thought there has to be something more important I could be doing with my life, rather than making windows go up & down for the super-rich!

At that time, I remember talking a lot with a colleague about the meaning of life and reading a lot about this subject. Another colleague had recommended an evening course in counselling which sounded very intriguing and seemed to tie in with my new favourite subject.

Two sets of evening classes later I had a new life passion and started a degree course in Person Centred Counselling. A few months after the course had started, I took a deep breath and a very big leap to quit my 12-year engineering career. I made the course my focus for 3 years and with great excitement passed mid-2022.

Experience
I have over 100 hours experience working in a local secondary school working with young people aged 11 - 18. I also have experience working with a local hospice, where I volunteered supporting family members who had lost a loved one. I feel lucky to have had the opportunity to work in both positions and to have had the opportunity to work with so many different people.
